As a Florida and Lee County native, I've had a front row seat to how much this area has grown. Places I learned to drive are now full neighborhoods - and behind every one of those businesses are real people.
Bookkeeping started for me in my family’s business, working alongside my grandmother. We worked with contractors and service-based businesses, and it never felt like “just numbers.” We knew the owners, their families, their employees - the people behind it all. It was personal. Looking back it felt simple … almost like Mayberry.
That stuck with me.
Because the reality is—most business owners are doing a lot.
Long hours. Too many hats. Trying to keep everything moving.
And bookkeeping usually isn’t the part they love.
I’ve seen firsthand how frustrating it is to spend time on something that’s not your strong suit - only to realize it could’ve been done better and faster by someone who does this every day.

A Little About Me … I’ve been married for 25+ years and have three teens who are quickly becoming independent young adults. They also have a funny way of reflecting a few of my less lovable traits back at me—keeps me humble. 😅
